Treats in one pocket, bags in the other, keys somewhere in between. Most dog owners know the pile. Autumn is the season for training and long walks in the dark, which is why we're seeing many Nordic brands launch walk bags right now. Here's what actually makes a difference.
1. Treat bag or belt bag?
A treat bag is small and hangs on your belt or the leash. It's for you if you train on the walk and want to reward at the right moment. A belt bag is bigger and takes everything: treats in a small pouch, phone, keys and bags. Choose by what you carry, not by what's trendy.
- Training a puppy or young dog: a treat bag.
- Want your hands free on the long walk: a belt bag. Put the treats in a small pouch inside, as it has no special food lining.
2. Rewarding with one hand
Timing is everything in training. If you hold the leash in one hand, you need to find the treat with the other without looking. Hang the bag in the same place every time, so your hand finds it on its own.
3. Bags should be attached, not loose in your pocket
A bag holder on the leash or harness means the bags are always there, even when someone else in the family takes the walk. A small thing, a big difference.
4. One pattern all the way
It's a clear trend this year: sets where the bag, bag holder, harness and leash share the same palette. It looks calm and makes it easy to find a gift. Our Tern series comes in autumn check, rust and taupe.
5. What you can skip
You don't need five bags. One treat bag or one belt bag plus a bag holder covers the vast majority of walks. Buy fewer things, but choose the ones you'll actually use every day.

The bags are made to order. Delivery time 2 to 4 weeks.
